Sandro Pansini Souza did not set out to write a book. He set out to defend a thought: that the dust Jesus told His disciples to shake off in Luke 9:5 was never a shrug, but a witness. The defense kept growing until it became a book.
He writes from Massachusetts, in English first and then in his native Brazilian Portuguese and in Spanish. He reads a verse until it stops him, asks God what it means, and writes the answer down the moment it comes, unfinished and honest, because that is how every chapter of his first book began.
